New Mexico’s landscapes, brilliant open skies, huge mountains, colorful sunsets and the earth tones of the American Southwest have been inspirational and reflected in my artwork for a long time. The social confinement experienced the last two years forced an inward approach to my artwork as seen in my mark-making, painting intuitively, nothing planned with random marks, allowing for the piece to inspire or talk to me and give me direction. It’s been a blessing!
